I think this is one of the sweetest moments of victory for these Tough Mudders-the triumphant | absolutely spent march back to their cars, homes, and beds (and showers). The sunset was beyond gorgeous, which must have been the cherry on top of an excruciating day of pain and victories.
This was my first visit to the Seattle Public Library and I have never been so excited to visit a public library before, save for the time I visited the new library in Vancouver with Fred. It was a big day for me not only because I set foot on new terrain, but also because this was the first time I drove by myself all the way to UW, downtown Seattle, and West Seattle AND I drove a friend. I also got a beautiful new library card, but that was more of a grueling process than a feat (I really must make a point of remembering my Lynnwood home address by now).
The architecture of this place was astounding (maybe because I know zero to nothing about architecture, but still). I could not resist snapping some shots of this place even though I didn’t have Kermit (my Canon Rebel bebe) on hand. The quality of these pictures are still really great for mobile shots - thank you Mr. Sunshine - and the silhouettes and dramatic shadows that were cast by the sunset were marvelous.
